Welcome to the website of Living Hope
Community Church. Whether you are church shopping, seeking
more information, or fully involved, we hope that you can find
what you are looking for here.
The best way to get a “feel” for Living Hope
is to visit one of our
Sunday Services. We
meet at 9:30 or 11:00 am at Rowland Elementary School in
Rowland Heights (directions).
For first time guests, we recommend the 11:00 am service so
that you would have plenty of time to get to meet people
following the service. Please note that our church office
is located in Walnut.
You can find our values,
statements of faith, and
pastors & leaders.
Two more places to get a better “feel” for our church is to
look through our current and past issues of The
Anvil, our monthly newsletter,
the announcements in our
homepage, or the
calendar page.
The church is more than a large
group meeting. In order to develop encouraging friendships,
we strongly encourage everyone to belong to a
community
where you feel you can belong; we call this our affinity
groups. Check out one of these groups:
kingdom kids ministry,
youth ministry,
college ministry,
single adult ministry and
homebuilders ministry.
If you would like to become a part of the
Living Hope family, you can do so by becoming a member.
There are responsibilities and privileges of being a member. For more information, see this
link.
There are many opportunities for ministry in the church. A
list of committees and their leads can be found here.
The church is served by committed, gifted men and
women of various walks of life. The leadership team
oversees the church while the deacon board runs the train.
In addition, we have a shepherding team for the homebuilders,
a single adult servant-leader team, a college staff and
servant-leader team, a youth staff and a kingdom kids staff.
We have multiple approaches in making an
impact to the world through
missions. We encourage
every college-aged member to consider going overseas with our
STEP team every summer. We encourage our older members to consider
participating in our GO! program. We encourage everyone to
prayerfully support our missionaries all the time.
