FAQ
What denomination is LHCC?

While being evangelical in theology, Living Hope Community Church does not belong to any denomination. Thus, we are an evangelical non-denominational church. This does not mean that we are against the denominations but simply that we have not found the right opportunity to affiliate ourselves with one.

Is LHCC an Asian-American or Korean-American church?

Because Living Hope Community Church was planted by a Korean Church, the make up of the people tend to be Asian-American and in particular Korean-American. But our desire and calling is not to serve a particular ethnic group nor to force a multi-ethnic agenda. We desire to reach out to the community and make disciples of whomever God sends our way. Thus, we are not an Asian-American/Korean-American Church and nor do we claim to be a multi-ethnic church. We are just a Christ-loving church.

Living Hope Community Church is a completely autonomous church?

We were originally planted by Good Stewards Church in 1993 and maintained an inter-dependent relationship. We became financially independent after 3 years.  In 2002, Living Hope Community Church transitioned into a fully independent church.
