Our elder
board consists of
two pastors and
four lay leaders. As a team, they work hard to oversee, shepherd and manage the church. |

Steve Chang is the Senior Pastor. He is a graduate of UCLA (in Computer engineering) and Dallas Theological Seminary. He lives with "the three most beautiful women in the world", his wife Hannah and his two daughters Christine and Janice. Steve's desire is to spend the rest of his life building up Living Hope.

David Kim is the Associate Pastor. He graduated from UCSD (in U.S. History) and Talbot School of Theology.
David has a passion for the church and its people. He and his wife Ruth live in Diamond
Bar with theirs daughters, Natalie and Katie.

David Chung has been a member of
Living Hope since 2001 and has been serving on the
leadership team since 2003. David is currently leading the
building committee as he is a dreamer and servant. It helps
in that he works in real estate development. David is
passionate about the local church and served on leadership
at his former church. Susanna also loves the local church
and currently serves on the Women’s Ministry. Their love for
the church can partially be explained by the fact that both
David and Susanna come from a strong line of pastor
families. They are joined by their good-looking son, Caden.. |

Richard has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘95. Richard has been servings on the
leadership team since 2003. As a leader, Richard has co-led
the men’s ministry and been a part of the missions board.
Starting in 2006, Richard will lead the Mission Board and be
a part of the Men’s Ministry. Richard’s training and heart
is to disciple men as he comes from a strong Navigator’s
background. Janet is also heavily involved in ministry as
she is on the Women’s Ministry leadership team. Richard and
Janet have one beautiful daughter, Avery, and are eagerly
awaiting their second child in 2007.. |

Dooro Park has been a member of
Living Hope since 1997. Dooro has served on the leadership
team since 2003 and directs our growing Christian Education
department. As an educator, Dooro values the spiritual
growth of adults and children. Both Dooro and EJ come from a
strong para-church involvement (Crossroads Christian
Ministries) at UC San Diego. EJ continues to serve on the
Women’s Ministry leadership team and together Dooro and EJ
shepherds the Central Region cell group for singles. They
home is filled with two kids, Ryan and Lauryn. Like father
like son, Ryan is big Los Angeles Dodger fan.

Andrew Song has been a member of
Living Hope since 2002 and has served on the leadership team
since 2004. In 2007, Andrew will lead the Men’s Ministry and
co-lead the building committee. Andrew is passionate about
the church and envisions great things for it. Before coming
to Living Hope, Andrew served as a deacon at his previous
church helping to lead the English portion of the church.
Having grown up in a pastor’s family and having the gift of
service, Michaela is an invaluable partner to Andrew.
Beginning 2007, Michaela will again co-lead the Toddler’s
ministry. Together, they raise the serious and the cheerful,
AJ & Zachary. |

| Associate Staff |
The daily operations of the church and the shepherding of the affinity ministries are done by our pastoral staff. In addition to Pastors Steve Chang and David Kim, our other members of the pastoral staff include: |

Danny Roh is our new Director of
Student Ministries. He is a graduate of Biola
University and Talbot School of Theology. Danny has a
passion for young people and has spent the last eight years
doing youth ministry. As the Director of Student
Ministries, Danny directly shepherds the Catapult (youth)
Ministry and assists with the Route-28 ministry. Danny
loves music and sports.

Tim Yu is our Route-28 (College)
Director.
He has a love and burden for collegians especially as he has been a part of Living Hope since his days at UCLA.
He is current a studying at Fuller Seminary (Masters of
Theology) and Fuller School of Psychology (PhD).

Min Song is our Children's
Director. She is a graduate of UC Irvine and is currently a student at Talbot
School of Theology in Christian Education. Min has a
deep passion and love a love for children and has involved
with the Kingdom Kids Ministry for years before becoming the
director in 2008.

servant-officers who oversea various ministries. They

John Choe has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘02. John is married to Sonya and together
they they have a precious growing girl, Karis. John has been
warmly greeting the visitors as the welcoming ministry lead
for a couple of years. John’s nickname is “Mr. Serious”
though we don’t know why. |

Lillian Choy has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘98 and has served in various capacities
including missions committee & board, SAM shepherd & Kingdom
Kids staff. Beginning in 2007, Lillian will be leading our
missions committee. |

Young Huh has been a member of
Living Hope since 2001. Young and his wife Jennie are
raising two energetic boys, Noah & Jonah. Young co-shepherds
the Chino Hill cell group and co-leads the facility
ministry. |

Ji Gil has been a member of Living
Hope since ‘96. Ji and his wife Nancy have been an integral
part of Living Hope since the near beginning. Ji has been
our membership lead for many years but beginning in 2007, he
will be focusing on developing our Creative Worship
ministry. |

Cindy Kim has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘98. Cindy is married to Min (see right).
Cindy has been leading our all-church events ministry for
the last few years. We really don’t know if we can have
Family Camps without her. |

Min Kim has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘96. Min is married to Cindy (see left).
Min will be pioneering a new Connect Ministry in 2007. He
also serves on the building committee and the all-church
events ministry. |

Raymond Kim has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘03. He was immediately “volunteered” to
become the youth director. In 2007, he will be leading our
prayer ministry. He is also an avid UCLA fan with football
season tickets. |

Andrew Park has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘95. He has become much busier in the last
couple of years now that he is married to Lynn and a father
a beautiful baby girl, Erin. If you didn’t know that Andrew
leads our praise team, you’ve been attending the wrong
church. He’s been doing that for over ten years. |

David Park has been a member of
Living Hope since ‘02. David is married to Helen and has two
girls, Tobi and Abigail. David had served in various mission
ministries because of his tremendous heart for mission. In
2007, David will take over the Membership ministry. |

Irene Yim has been a member of
Living Hope since ’99. She has served in various capacities
including leading the hospitality committee. She directed
our children’s Christmas musical in 2006. Irene is married
to Robert and has two children: Audrey & Sarah. |

Paul Yoon has been a member since
2003. He has been faithfully serving as the hospitality lead
for the last two years. He is married to Susan and has two
sons: Jason and Aaron.. |
