Description:
The purpose of the Women's Ministry is to equip, nurture,
and encourage women in different life stages to grow
spiritually in God's Word.
Women's Ministry is an all-affinity ministry that meets
approximately every other month for a variety of different
fellowship events. These include prayer, fellowship events,
education, book clubs, baby showers and retreat.
Another major component of Women's Ministry is the Mommy
Ministry. This is a thriving ministry in that, within the
past several years, there has been no shortage of newborns
added to our church family! Some ministry activities include
baby showers, post-partum packages, meal deliveries, field
trips, Operation Christmas Child, and regional play dates.
It's a wonderful ministry that serves to nurture and draw
closer the moms at LHCC.
Women's Ministry is led by a Women's Council made up of
representatives serving in Route 28 (college), Prime and
Homebuilders. This Women's Council, made up of 10 women this
year, serves as a steering committee to prayerfully plan and
organize all the events for the year.
