a ministry of living hope community church

for jr. high and high school students

steps

We start by asking two questions:

  1. 1.Where do we want our students to be?

  2. 2.How are we going to get them there?

Contact is a quarterly event targeting students in our community. The aim is to make contact with our friends and introduce them to church through activities in hopes of challenging them to take the next step and come to our Sunday service.

Our Sunday service takes place each week at 11:00 a.m. on the Rowland Elementary School (RES) campus in room 22. It is the place where the weak and the broken come to meet and collide with the infinite, loving God. The aim of Collision is to simply glorify Him through our worship.

* We join the praise portion of second service before every Collision.

* On the last Sunday of every month we gather in the auditorium and meet with our entire church family for “Family Worship.”

The HUB is the central meeting place for our midweek small groups. It’s a place where students can connect with each other and build community through Bible study and accountability. We meet on Friday nights (Wednesday nights during the summer).

Cross training is our discipleship training for students.

Catalyst is our student leadership training and development where students learn to serve in the ministry and beyond.

  1. The result is a ministry that works in steps. Each step is designed to bring our students closer to becoming a committed follower of Christ.

At Catapult we like to think in terms of steps and not programs
