Singled Out: A Singles Conference - Jan 10


Living Hope’s PR1ME Ministry will host it’s first ever Single Adult Conference on January 10, 2009. Pastor Tae Shin, our guest speaker, will address “single-specific issues that we don’t talk about at church.” We are inviting other single adult (ages 22+) ministries to come and engage in this valuable time of learning. The conference is open to the public.

Baby Shower - Jan 11
Come and celebrate two special additions to our Living Hope Family. We will be honoring Alejandra Park (girl) and Elaine Gong (boy) on Jan.11th in Rm. K-1 after second service. We will be having a catered lunch and ask that you bring $5 to help cover the cost."

Catapult Ministry: Lunch @ the Mall - Jan 11
Come join us for lunch at the Puente Hills Mall Food Court following second service (12:30 p.m.) Parents and families are encouraged to join us but if you can't make it, just be sure to pick up your student at the Food Court by 1:45 p.m. Please let us know in advance if you need to make any special arrangements for pick-up. Route 28 Winter Retreat - Jan 16-18
On the weekend of Jan. 16, the Route 28 ministry will be spending some time up in the cabins for our annual winter retreat. Pastor Jimmy Han of Good News Chapel will be our guest speaker. Cost is $80 and sign-ups will begin soon. Contact Tim Yu at Tim.S.Yu@gmail.com for more info.

Homebuilder's Prom - Feb. 8
Come the weekend before Valentine's Day, the Route 28 will be hosting our bi-annual Homebuilder's Prom. "The Living Room" - every Tuesday
Great News!!! Our "Living Room" will be open every Tuesdays from 7:00 - 10:30 pm in 2009. Come play, study, connect, hang out in a relaxing environment--foosball table included. The Remaining Task: The Great Commission - Jan
The month of January will be dedicated as Missions Month, with the theme, "The Remaining Task: The Great Commission." We hope and pray that our Living Hope church family will be challenged in our role concerning the Great Commission. On Sundays, we will hear from Dr. Mark Saucy, Missionary Tony Cho, and Pastor David Kim on the importance of global missions and how we can get involved. Look out for more details in the coming weeks and prayerfully consider ways in which you can participate in the various activities that will be made available.

All Church Soccer Fellowship - Feb 7
Do you want to learn how to play the beautiful game?? Then come out to soccer fellowship at Grand Avenue Park in Chino on Saturday February 7th at 2:30pm. Beginners, experienced players, and kids welcome!! Joga Bonito!!!
