This is an interesting time for the Church, as we try to navigate what it means to be people of faith while being people of wisdom.

Our commitment as a church is to continue to:

  • Be informed as people coming from health care, law enforcement, school, college and church
  • Talk with other churches to learn from and help one another
  • Take cues from various agencies including CDC, government, school district
  • Prayerfully lead and make decision for the sake of the church and our own families

We believe the situation surrounding Covid-19 is one that should be taken seriously, but not one which should incite panic. And though we are taking some actions, it is not a result of any known case of the virus among our people. We are simply trying to help in the bigger strategy of helping to contain potential transmission.

Here are some recent updates:

1. The Council of SOLA Network, comprised of 10 pastors from local churches including Pastor Steve Chang, have unanimously decided to cancel the SOLA conference. Refunds will be issued by SOLA.

2. The leadership of our Prime Single Adult Ministry with the affirmation of the elders have decided to cancel the Prime Retreat.

3. Otherwise, the church will continue to function as scheduled though we have taken greater caution in various ways.

4. We are also working on technology that will allow us to begin streaming services. Our expected soft launch is March 29.

Our prayer is that this can be a time when we deepen our faith in our sovereign God.
