Congregational Budget Vote Update
The Congregations Budget Vote had an overhwhelming vote in favor for the proposed budget for 2025. Thank you, church family, for casting your votes and for your generosity.
Upcoming Sermon Series | Starting Jan 12
We welcome our next sermon series, "Minor Prophets with Major Messages", where we will delve into the often-overlooked writings of the minor prophets. These concise, yet powerful books may not frequently grace our pulpits, but they are rich with important messages that continue to resonate with God's people today. While some books are shorter and each book can overlap some general themes, these books nonetheless contain important messages that are relevant to the contemporary church including but not limited to repentance, God’s kingship, divine justice, compassion, etc. Join us as we uncover and listen to the wisdom they impart for our lives and the Church in these challenging times.
LA Wildfire Support & Donations | Jan
Living Hope is partnering to help those impacted by the LA wildfires by preparing food care packages and providing supplies to organization on the frontlines. If you would like to support this effort, please donate using this form. We also received information from our Brea Fire Chief, Mark Terrill, on other ways our church can help the relief efforts for the fire devastation (info in the form).
Philippines Mission Update | Jan
Our Philippines Team is wrapping up their ministry this weekend! They’ve served 5 church plants in 5 different villages, from the mountains to the jungles to the remote islands, and they’re very excited to share how God has moved! Please pray for the team to safely travel back home. They arrive LAX on Monday 1/20 at 3pm at Tom Bradley International Terminal.
THE NEXT CHAPTER Monthly Prayer Meeting | Jan 26
We are hosting monthly prayer opportunities during this time of transition: every 4th Sunday of the Month at 8:30 AM in the teaching room (second floor) and 11 AM in the main sanctuary (first floor, by the stairs). These meetings are in addition to the monthly Prayer Chapel (first Tuesday nights). Please come gather to pray for the next chapter of Living Hope!
Cell Group Open House| Jan 26
A new season of Cell Groups is starting soon at Living Hope! For those new to Cell Groups, our First Cell experience kicks off on February 16, designed to help you connect with God, our community, and your purpose. Registration is now open! Join us for the First Cell Open House on Sunday, January 26 in Chapel 2, right after each service. This is a great opportunity to meet leaders, ask questions, and discover how First Cell can help you find community at Living Hope.

Night to Shine | Feb 7
Night to Shine is a prom night experience for people with special needs. There's a limo ride for guests, a red carpet, a dance floor, DJ, food, even a karaoke station. We've partnered with several churches in Brea to host this event. Last year we had over 80 families affected by disabilities attend. We are hoping to host even more families this year. Every second Saturday of the month, our church hosts a no-cost food pantry for anyone in our area. Neighbor's Pantry is an opportunity for us as a church family to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Refresh Your Marriage Conference | Mar 14-15
Join us for the Refreshing Your Marriage Conference on March 14-15, an inspiring event designed for dating, engaged, and married couples. Hosted by The Crossing Church, this conference features engaging sessions, practical tools, and meaningful moments to strengthen your connection. Living Hope couples will also gather for a special lunch on Saturday after the conference to connect, share takeaways, and meet other families. Childcare is included during the conference, and lunch will be provided for children who attend.
