Guest Speaker: Dr. Joel Kim (Westminster Seminary California)
Dr. Joel Kim serves as President of Westminster Seminary California, where he teaches New Testament. He is married to Sharon and they have two grown children.
For many of us, summer is a season of travel - vacations and family trips that take us in different directions. In many ways, it mirrors the ancient practice of pilgrimage, where God's people would journey together toward a sacred destination. The Psalms of Ascent (Psalms 120-134) were the songs they carried along the way - but they were never just songs for the road. They were given to guide the people of God on a deeper journey towards the heart of God Himself.

Prime Retreat - Restoration | August 14-16
We're hosting Retreat for all single adults part of our Prime ministry on Friday August 14 through Sunday August 16. Join us for a weekend where are going to be learning how to establish healthy rhythms that develops a healthy relationship with God and with others! Baptism | August 23
If you are a believer, but have never professed your faith publicly through baptism, we urge you to do so on August 23. The required class will be on Friday, August 7 from 7-8pm. The last day to sign up is August 3. Sign up here.
Honduras Mission Trip | November 6-13
Living Hope is sending a team to La Paz, Honduras, to host an optometry clinic and children's ministry program. Our church partners with a Compassion International Site in La Paz. We are taking applications for members in Homebuilders, Prime, College Ministry and Youth (provided a parent comes along). Click here to sign up!

Nursing Home Ministry | July 26
Access Ministry has started a new ministry at a local nursing home, Sunny Hills Post-Acute. We will worship with the patients there once a month, on the 4th Sunday of every month. If you are interested, then please reach out to our Outreach Pastor, Albert Kae (albert.kae@livinghopecc.org).
First Lunch | August 2 @ 11AM | Chapel 2
Are you new? Or have you been with us for some time but want to explore the church more? Then join us for First Lunch - time for table fellowship over lunch and hearing more about Living Hope. Prayer Chapel | August 4
Join us for Prayer Chapel on the first Tuesdays of each month at 7pm in Chapel 1, as we become a church family that prays together. All are welcome.
Neighbor's Pantry | August 8
Every second Saturday, our church hosts a no-cost food pantry called Neighbor's Pantry. The food pantry is an opportunity for our church family to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Volunteers gather from 8-10am. Food distribution begins at 9am. If you're looking to get involved or have any questions, please contact Pastor Albert Kae (albert.kae@livinghopecc.org).
