SERMON SERIES
When we look at the life and ministry of Jesus, we find that one of the most common invitations he gave was remarkably simple: “Follow me.” Spoken more than twenty times throughout the Gospels, these words were an invitation into far more than a set of beliefs or a moral code of do’s and don’ts. They were an invitation into an entirely new way of life - the very way of life that Jesus himself lived.
Our sermon series through the Gospel of Matthew called Follow Me. Together, we will follow Jesus from the early days of his life and ministry in Galilee all the way to the cross at Calvary and the empty tomb. Along the way, we will encounter the teachings, practices, and values that defined the Way of Jesus - and discover what it means for us to embody that same way of life today.

Deacon Nominations for 2027-28
Deacons are dedicated men and women who serve as the church's servant officers. While they may not always be visible, they are essential to the church’s vitality, serving in crucial areas like finance, hospitality, children’s ministry, etc. We are taking nominations for men and women to serve as deacons for the 2027-2028 term. If you are a member of our church, please look for the nomination form via email on Sept. 28. Please prayerfully nominate men and women (who are members of LHCC) for deaconship for the 2027-2028 term.
Nominations will remain open until Saturday, October 10, 2026.
The congregational vote will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2026.
Honduras Lunch Fundraiser | October 11

Men's Breakfast | October 24

Child Dedication | October 25
Living Hope's next Child Dedication ceremony will be on Sunday October 25 during 9:30am service. There is a mandatory class 1 week prior on Sunday, October 18 at 10:45am in the Living Room. Click here to sign up!
2026 Festafall | October 25
October is here, which means FestaFall is just around the corner! Every year, we host Festafall as a fun Halloween alternative for our church and the whole community, with themed games, food, face painting, balloon artists, and of course, lots of candy! ON-GOING MONTHLY EVENTS
Neighbor's Pantry | October 10
Every second Saturday, our church hosts a no-cost food pantry called Neighbor's Pantry. The food pantry is an opportunity for our church family to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Volunteers gather from 8-10am. Food distribution begins at 9am. If you're looking to get involved, click here to sign-up! Nursing Home Ministry | October 25
Access Ministry has started a new ministry at a local nursing home, Sunny Hills Post-Acute. We will worship with the patients there once a month, on the 4th Sunday of every month. If you are interested, then please reach out to our Outreach Pastor, Albert Kae (albert.kae@livinghopecc.org).
First Lunch | November 1 @ 1PM | Chapel 2

Prayer Chapel | November 3
Join us for Prayer Chapel on the first Tuesdays of each month at 7pm in Chapel 1, as we become a church family that prays together. All are welcome.
