Church Membership | Apr 28, May 5, 19, and 26
We are offering a round of church membership classes starting Sunday, 4/28. All classes are at 1130am to 130pm except for the final class, which includes brunch and ceremony from 915am to 1245pm. There is no class on Mother's Day 5/12. At Living Hope, we believe that church membership is a biblical way to belong to Christ body that is good for the local church and individual members. Please pray about making us your church to call home this season!
Lunch Sale for Youth Summer Missions | Apr 28
This Sunday, we are selling gukbap and curry for $10 each to raise funds for our youth summer mission trips! Join us in the Porch after the second and third services to enjoy our homemade, delicious meals!! Funds will go toward sending our students to Skid Row and Honduras!
Love Brea | Apr 27
Living Hope is participating in a city-wide serve day organized by the City of Brea on April 27th! You can sign up for one-day projects like passing out hygiene kits, spreading mulch, and more. Sign up with a group and help serve needs throughout our city. You can sign up for projects at lovebrea.org. Ervin Liang's Ordination Service | May 5
Our Director of Student Ministries, Ervin Liang, is becoming an ordained minister of the Word in the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) on Sunday, 5/5 at 4pm. Ervin has passed all the requirements by the CMA and shown himself to be called in his faithful work at Living Hope! Please come celebrate Ervin and God's favor upon him. Worship service is in the sanctuary. Light refreshments are provided after.
Prayer Chapel - Access Ministry | May 7
Please join us to pray with and for our Access Ministry! Tuesday, 5/7 at 830pm in Chapel 1. The Access Ministry serves children with special needs. What a worthy and beautiful cause to pray for and support!
Neighbor's Pantry | May 11
Neighbor's Pantry is an opportunity for us as a church family to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Back in Nov and Dec, we gave away 150 turkeys! We hope to do more this year as we meet every 2nd Saturday of each month at the church, and we are looking for volunteers to assist with the upcoming giveaway next Saturday. Softball Tournament | May 18 & 25
Sport's Ministry is looking to field a men's team and women's team to participate in the Berean Mission's Softball Tournament. The Tournament will be offsite (Torrance) on May 18 and 25. Join LHCC's softball team to enjoy fellowship, support the church and some friendly competition! Sign up tables will be available in the main hallway between services Sundays (3/24,4/7 and 4/14).
2024 VBS | Jun 18-21
VBS 2024 is officially starting! This year our theme will be Spy Academy! We are currrently opening volunteer registration for our 2024 VBS. This is a church-wide event and we need every set of hands we can get!
